More about me
After graduating from the University of Washington with a Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW), my mission was clear. I wanted to help non-profits make a greater impact on our community. For me, that meant helping them build relationships (aka fundraise!).
After starting the MSW program in 2007, I was lucky to be involved with the grant making and fundraising efforts of small, grassroots organizations in Burien, WA as well as the efforts of a large scale multi service agency in Seattle's Fremont neighborhood. These experiences fueled my fire to further explore a career in Development. I have since worked for four agencies of various sizes and missions and worked all over the development spectrum: event management, individual giving, sponsorship programs, volunteer management, grant writing, board development, external communications, and rebranding.
When I'm not helping non-profits build relationships and meet their fundraising goals, I can be found on a bike, on a yoga mat, or in the mountains hiking or skiing. Most of these activities involve my husband, Ross, and our adorable labradoodle, Salty.
